Practical parka winter jacket with taped seams, a warm lining and a soft, contrast inner lining. The jacket has a detachable hood with adjustable drawstrings, a concealed two-way zip and zipped pockets. The sleeves are finished with ribbed cuffs, which prevent wind from penetrating and the waist can be adjusted with an inner drawstring for a more feminine silhouette.

The water column pressure stated for this jacket refers to a measurement of the fabric’s water-repellent properties. It indicates the amount of water in millimetres that can be pressed against the fabric before water begins to penetrate and soak through it.

When it comes to waterproof materials, a waterproof membrane or coating is often used. It can be a thin film or a layer of material applied to the outer fabric. This membrane is designed to prevent water from penetrating the fabric while allowing moisture and vapour (sweat) from the inside to escape, maintaining comfort for the wearer.

There are different degrees of breathability, which depend on how quickly sweat can pass through the material. This jacket has a breathability of over 3000g/m2/d, which makes it ideal for outdoor physical activity, such as skiing.
